What! She thought he was mad at her? He wasn't mad at her at all. "What, no!" Ryan's idea was somewhat antic-climatic now but, maybe it would help with the mood. "The outfit thing is over, it's fine now." He then pulled out some old theater lingo, well to him it was theater lingo because he had heard it used in some old musical, "I'll like to take a rain check on that meeting though, if that's ok." He paused then said, "Do you like dancing?"
He really wasn't thinking of this as a date he was asking her on but as something fun that they could do together. Um...hmmm, what was Ryan's definition of a date?

(LOL, yeah, really?)
She felt so relieved by his words, Gwen was beaming and when he asked her about dancing and it took her a moment to think about the question. This seemed completely random to Gwen, somone who never overthought anything.
"I love dancing!" She finally said, it was true. As a cheerleader she was a very good dancer.

"Really?" Ryan loved dancing too! He beamed, happy that she liked it as well. His heart beat a little bit faster, he wasn't sure why. He felt himself turning red as he stammered, "Great! How w-would you like to, to have dinner-and go dancing with me, tomorrow night?" He tried to keep his cool, taking a note from Gene Kelly's book.
He knew exactly where to take her, to the country club! They had great food and a ballroom for dancing.

(I.LOVE.GENE.KELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Gwen was beaming and when he asked her to go dancing she felt happiness bubbling inside of her! She wasn't thinking of it as a date, in fact, she wasn't really thinking...she never overthought anything. The only way she would know was if he asked like so: Will you, Gwen, Go with me, Ryan, out on a date as two people who /like/ like eachother...on a date. Date!
"That sounds super fun!!" She squeeled, jumping in place happily.

(Me too! ^^)
"Fabulous!" Ryan exclaimed, then realizing his mistake, peeked out of the curtain and saw Miss Darbus starting to look his way and his sister desperately trying to keep her attention. "So I'll pick you up after um...at six?" He wasn't sure where to pick her up and he would have to see if he could borrow his dad's red corvette, he really didn't want to borrow Sharpay's pink musting. He also knew she would say no.

Chad didn't seem to notice his English teacher speak to him as he sat in the front row of the theatre and leaned back, watching. It was a stupid dance. The only plus was that was going with Taylor. Otherwise, it'd be as boring as the rest of the dances.

Xander looked up from his work upon hearing Ryan's voice coming from behind the curtain. He blinked in confusion not knowing what was going on. He looked over at Sharpay who was trying to keep the interest of Miss Darbus who had just realized Ryan was missing. Xander figured out somewhat of what was happening, he raised an eyebrow, "Interesting..."
He stood up, bored already of making center pieces and walked over to where Sharpay and Darbus were. Xander held up a center piece, showing it to them, "Miss D., How many of these am I suppose to make?"
((Sharpay, you can reply as Darbus as well, if you want))

Gwen nodded vigerously before realising he couldn't hear her nod. So she put a hand to her, now woozy head, and smiled. "Okay! Sounds great!" She replied, not remembering to tell him where she lived, she was so excited!

Sharpay was just in the middle of explaining to someone, with Miss D., how each part of the cast, even the set builders, were important. Though not as important as the leads, when Xander walked to them. She stared at him with a small glare, wandering what he was up to.
"Oh! Mr. Donova!" She smiled at him and clasped her hands together, then, while answering his question, she pushed her glasses up on her nose. "About twelve will do."
"Now, as I was saying." Shapay barked, turning Miss Darbus's back on Xander.

"Ok, great." he nodded and smiled. Ryan then remembered that he didn't know where she lived. "Oh, I don't know where you live." he laughed slightly, "I should probably know that...to pick you up, and all." He felt like such an idiot.

Taylor raised her hand from the stage. "Ms. Darbus can I leave now? My 15 minutes was up 5 minutes ago" Taylor said. Darbus waved Taylor off as she didn't notice Chad really there so she just grabbed her things and made a beeline for the exit as fast as she could.

"Ohhh, good point!" She felt like a moron. "Okay, I live on 133 Springmont Dr. Near the park. Okay?" Gwen informed him, looking through the window again for him.
(Sorry, it's short. -_-"")

Xander nodded his head, "Right, twelve..." He now knew for sure what Sharpay was doing. On his way back to the table he saw Chad in the audience, "Hey man!" he held up the center piece, "I only have to make five more of these lame things and I'm out of here...wanna help?"
He glanced back at Miss Darbus. She couldn't possible be that dense not to notice Ryan's absence or that Sharpay had been talking to her almost non-stop...well, that was somewhat normal.

"133 Springmount Dr." he repeated, memorizing it. That was something he was somewhat good at, being in drama for so long. "Um," he peaked out of the curtain and decided he had to end this call now. "I guess I'll see ya tomorrow." He leaned against the wall.

"Okay! I'll see you tomorrow!!!" She hung up and hugged the phone. Gwen couldn't help but let a squeel out, ignoring the looks she got from others. Then she got a brilliant idea. The mall! She had to go and get a new outfit!! Thus Gwen ran out of the school, too excited to realise she still had her gym clothes on.
