Paul stared at the jersey with his mouth open as he held it, "This is amazing Aime!" He grinned looking it over. Paul didn't have much sport memorabilia but, he cherished the stuff that he had. He couldn't wait to show it off to his buddys.
Harmony gasped when the bracelet was given to her. Like any teenage girl, she loved jewelery. She immediately put it on and admired it on her arm. She giggled, "Yay!" Then she turned back to Aime, "Thank you so much, this is the best!" She then attempted to read it, "Ai-ame? Aime?" She bit her lip, "Um, what does it mean?"
Paul with still in sports la, la land when suddenly he remembered something...Aime had said he was from Paris. Wait, Paris? As in, the city of love?! Full of romantic guys?! Uh-oh, he looked at Harmony then at Aime. He stared at Amie, in thought. He turned his head slightly toward Cate and spoke to her so only she could hear him, "Where will he be staying?"

Aimé, of course, was almost too preoccupied with himself to even notice the elder man whispering, nor was he the type to eavesdrop. He usually didn't have to; according to him, people were only glad to tell him of everything of importance. He only laughed at Rory's response, for some reason finding this joke unbelievably hillarious. Aimé was unsure how long he could hold the charade, but the disbelief upon the boy's face was all too rich.
"'Ami'," he began, almost with a flourish, "Means friend. The 'e' added to the end only shows that the friend is a female." He grinned proudly, as if knowing his native tongue was something of utmost...amazingness.
"Which I myself," he said, turning towards Rory once more, "Shall be for you." He paused, tapping his chin for a moment. "Sans the female part, of course." His face broke into a wide grin, pink towel falling down his back, holding two bags, yet still managing to look somewhat poised.

Cordelia Valentine parked her car in the driveway, where she always parked. She refused to park on the street. She got out and rolled her little designer luggage bag out of the car. She slung her purse over her shoulder and headed for the front door.
Cordy wasn't spending the night, she was just bringing a few things to show Harmony and maybe giving her a facial. If anything Harmony would be spending the night at Cordy's house. Cordelia rarely did sleepovers at other people's houses.
She sighed, hoping Rory was not there and rang the doorbell.

Mrs. Grant had no idea what was so amazing about the jersey, but the jewelry certainly caught her eyes. She gasped and went to her daughter's side, taking the bracelet from her. She was warming up to Aime. Then Paul spoke and she sent him a warning glare, glancing from her husband to Aime as if to say, 'he's right there!' Yet, when she saw that he was too busy tormenting her son she scooted to Paul's side and whispered, "the guest room for D.J. stayed." Referring to the only room downstairs, the room that their maschevious nphew had stayed in.
Rory continued to stare at Aime with obvious dislike. Sure, everyone else got something cool, but what did Rory get? A wet frenchman. He snorted in disbelief and began to walk away, "Pass."
Cate turned her attention from her husband to Rory and then the ringing doorbell, "Harmony get that." She said, chasing after her son. "Rory, don't be so rude to our new guest!"
Rory rolled his eyes as he retrieved his super soaker from the sink and then headed back towards the stairs at the front of the house, Cate trailing behind.
(Sorry it's not very good. I blame writers blockl.)

"Ooooooh," Paul nodded in response to his wife's reply. He then added, "Hopefully he won't be another D.J." He grinned and shrugged at the glare he received from Cate. Then the door bell rang. Cate ran off after Rory and Paul stood there in the kitchen staring at the other two people who had been left there. His wife ordered Harmony to get the door and she was off for the door.
Paul stood there and looked at Aime, he didn't really know what to say. After an awkward moment he came up with something, "Well, do you like it here in the states so far?"
Harmony got to the door and opened. She squealed and jumped up and down clapping her hands as she saw who it was. "Cordy!" She hugged her friend and led her inside. "Oh my gosh! So, you'll never guess who's here right now."

Cordelia accepted the hug with the strange, 'why are you hugging me face' that she as always accepted hugs with. She smiled after the embrace as her friend led her to the kitchen. "Let me guess, Troy Bolton?" She said sarcastically at her friend's question.
((so short >.<))

The blonde grinned, as always, before answering Paul. "Everyone eez quite nice." he answered. He paused before adding. "But of course, everyone eez nice to me." He could've sworn he head a bit of a cry from the other room, but as Paul did not seem alarmed, he assumed it was a normal occurrence.
"I 'ave gone to see the school." he continued. "Eet was quite nice." Indeed, he had gone earlier that day, it was the very second thing he had down when he had gotten off of his plane. "Zey will be 'appy to 'ave me, non?"
He only continued grinning. So was Aimé.

Rory stopped halfway up the stairs when the doorbell rang. Maybe the day wouldn't be completely ruined...
"Oh, thank you Rory, now go down there and make Aime feel welcome." She said, hoping her son was stopping because of his conscious. Nope.
He grinned and walked down the stairs, "Sure mom.." He said as she walked towards the kitchen. Soon he stood in front of Cordy, besides his sister...supersoaker still in hand.
"Hey Cordy!" He said, raising the soaker. Water streamed from the gun and hit it's intended target. Ah, life was good again.
"RORY!" Cate screamed, rushing to his side and taking his soaker. "I am so sorry Cordelia, really, you are too, right Rory?" Rory only looked upset because his mother had taken the ammo. He smirked at Cordy, "Actually-" Cate hit her son on the back side of the head and sent him upstairs. "To your room, you're grounded, mister!" She sighed. "Sorry Cordy, let me get you a towel."

Cordelia stood there in shock. She wanted to kill Rory at this very moment in time. He had got her clothes wet, her nice, pretty, expensive clothes WET! She was really P.O. She glared at Rory holding out her hands, "Rory." she growled but, he had already escaped up the stairs. She nodded at Mrs. Grant. "Why do you keep that little brat around?!" she said to Harmony.

Harmony covered her mouth with her hands. She stared in dismay at the wet Cordelia. She shook her head at her question, "Honestly, I don't know...If it were my choice, he would already be in boarding school." She crossed her arms...then remembered what she was doing. "Oh yeah! Um, here, right now is..."
Paul was in the kitchen when he heard the scream of Cordelia. He assumed what his son had done and shrugged this off as normal. He would have to discipline him later. "I'm sure they will love having you there." he replied to Aime. "It's a good school."
Harmony entered the kitchen with Cordelia who now had a towel. "Aime!" She gestured to the foreign boy. "He's our French exchange student."

Aimé, though in the midst of the most wonderful conversation with Paul, couldn't help but turn his head when he heard his name spoken. He grinned at Paul, nodding, as if agreeing that they would, of course, absolutely adore having the somewhat strange French boy in their school.
He turned to see Harmony, grinning ear to ear, looking at the new guest. He made a rather extravagant bow to the girls, smirking to himself about things unknown. "What a lovely guest we 'ave 'ere!" he said, looking to Cordelia, who seemed to have come to the same type of meeting with Rory. The pink towel wrapped around his neck did little to keep him dry, but sure did distract him from being wet.

Harmony giggled as Aime bowed to greet them. She hoped Cordy would think he was really neat too. She waited to she what her friend's reaction would be. She hoped the wet state that her friend was in hadn't angered her too much. Harmony leaned over to Cordy and said, "Isn't he amazing?"
Paul watched the greeting Aime gave the two girls. Very gentile of him, to bow like that. He really hoped his daughter's giggle wasn't the 'oh he's so cute giggle, but the 'I'm blonde so I'm going to giggle for no apparent reason, giggle.' He had had a blonde room mate in his youth and now, he was very grateful for the time they had spent together. It had prepared him for the years to come with his blonde daughter.

Cordy stared at the boy, then she looked at Harmony, then back at Aime. She shrugged, "Well, he is cute." she said back to her friend. Cordy smiled, "Hi there, I'm Cordelia Valentine." He did deserve her kindness, after all, he had called her lovely. After this little meeting she would definitely go up stairs and change into a new outfit. This one would need to dry.
