Jackie looked or appraised Cordelia, giving her a look over with an interested but not friendly face. Finally she gave a stiff smile and replied, "I'm Jackie. You must be Cordelia, headh cheerleader of East High." She said, giving Cordy her 'praise' but also showing that she was in the know and wasn't about to be intimidated. There was something about Cordelia that made Jackie bristle. Maybe it was her 'I'm the queen, worship me' aura. The aura that Jackie reserved soley for herself. "Don't you think she should get this dress? It's perfect for her." She smiled again, testing her ground.

Cordelia was happy that she had been recognized by this girl that Harmony had befriended. Cordy's smile still wasn't genuine though as she could sense this girl was not intimidated by her. "Wonderful to meet you." she said in a tone that stated the opposite. Jackie then tested her ground with Queen C by suggesting Harm still buy the dress. She looked over at her best friend who was grinning from ear to ear. She still wore the silly thing. Cordy raised an eyebrow as she pondered what was happening here. She didn't want the girl to get her way but, then she looked at her friend. She felt the slightest twinge of guilt if she didn't. Cordelia wanted Harmony to be happy. "Well, of course! Our group will be the best looking there." She knew Harmony really wanted the dress. Cordelia then questioned her, "So, who do you hang out with Jackie? I haven't seen you around school, of course it is a big school."

Jackie matched Cordelia's stare and watched her with an intensity to see how she would respond. She couldn't help but smirk as she squirmed and then raised her eyebrows in a 'yeeah, ok' kind of way when she finally responded. Jackie knew that it would probably be true, though, the cheerleaders were always the dates to have, they were always gorgeous. But this year Jackie was going to be the best group...a group of one, but whatever.
"I hang out with.." She began quickly enough and then stumbled over the punchline. Who did she hang out with..? She really didn't have any friends, not real friends anymore. When she was head cheerleader everyone had to be her friend, and now that she wasn't she didn't have anyone. She would never reveal that to Cordelia, though. "Um, I hang out with...the jocks, now. I'm thinking about joining vollyball if my busy social life will allow it."
