Oswald sat on the school grounds, it was lunch time and he found that he wasn't especially hungry. It was either the fact that he really needed to study up on geography or it was because all of the girls inside the cafeteria were gushing about the upcoming dance. The fact that Oz was tuning his acoustic guitar and not flipping through his textbook promised the latter.
He sighed, thoughts of the dance sprung into his head without his wanting them too. Mostly he daydreamed the many disasters that could occur, but some pleasant thoughts popped in as well. Mostly they were positive only because of Harmony, never because of something he did. Oz was a realistic sort of daydreamer and he tried to only fantasize things that could only actually happen.
He awoke from his thoughts and looked down at his watch to notice that he had just wasted fifteen minutes tuning his guitar mindlessly. He strummed his guitar to see if he had tuned it correctly during his revere and was pleased to hear that he had.
"Cool." He muttered to himself, speaking softly, as he was used to. He supposed he had become so accustomed to tuning that he could do it automatically now. That was a pleasant surprise.
Now to set to work... he thought, strumming some easy cords and scribbling the occasional note in his notebook. Oz was going to fulfill his promise to Delilah for helping him with his dance moves[Thread:Take the Lead]. He knew it was a long shot to hope he would accomplish her first request of getting a girlfriend but knew it was more than possible to write her a song.
"Hey There Delilah..." He softly sang, strumming an easy melody.
