Wow, Olive had learned something new about Ned. He wasn't accustom to talking about himself so, Olive knew very little. She hadn't known that his mother had inspired him into the pie making business. That was sweet of him. She absolutely loved Ned's new pie. He really had a talent for making them. She was very happy to be eating a mixed berry pie as Olive's favorite pie was strawberry ((fun coincidence hehe)). She really enjoyed any pie that Ned had made, she hadn't tasted one yet that she didn't like.
Olive nodded her head in agreement to what he had said about moving on. But she then repeated his last statement in her head as it had caught her ear. 'Pie is home.' He had said it sometime before, she recalled. This statement was very true Olive realized as she took another delightful bite. Every bite gave her a feeling of happiness and took her to a place in the past that she had called home. There was nothing like a good pie to lift your spirits. She smiled at the Pie Maker, "You're right about that." She kept eye contact until she realized she was staring and looked down at the bit of pie left. She mentally yelled at herself for getting caught in the Pie Maker's gaze. "So how are you adjusting to your new home?"

Ned still had his hands clasped behind his back. He was tensed as he had no idea how he should be in front of Olive. He was not sure if Olive had forgotten what had happened before and moved on. Though Ned knew, it's better to be safe than something tragic to happen. Ned listened to what Olive said and smiled a little more, relaxed, realising she finished the pie. Ned then cleared his throat before looking back at her, their eyes met.
"Good I guess...Not as big as Pie Hole but still, able for me to bake some pies for the students here. Well...I won't bother your time...as it seemed I did took up some of your time. Oh, if you won't mind, you can have some of the pies back to your office. I mean, there is nobody here to taste it other than you. Lunch just over for the students so...I don't think they are coming back any time soon. If you don't, it's ok. I totally understand. No point forcing..."

Olive felt her heart beat a little bit quicker as her blue eyes meet his brown ones. The blonde kept eye contact this time. She told her heart to stop getting so caught up in his eyes, she had moved on, hadn't she? Olive truthfully had tried to move on but, kept finding herself carried back to the same places again. Would she tell him? No, she would kept this a secret from the Pie Maker as she didn't want to get her heart broken again.
"No I don't mind at all. It was nice to catch up on things." She smiled, "And I'll certainly take some Pie off your hands, no problem at all!" Her heart wanted to continue and ask him to go out for a cup of coffee sometime but she didn't say this out loud. She would certainly come and take a walk with him Digby sometime if the offer still stood. She did miss Digby and it would be a chance to catch up on more with Ned.

Ned noticed that Olive was looking at him, he wondered where she was looking at or if there was something on his face. He then realised she was focusing on his eyes. Ned felt curious to why Olive did that, though he didn't want to ask. He smiled at her, feeling a little nervous as Olive kept doing so. He gulped a little while waiting for her to speak. Ned listened while tilting his head slightly. He continued to smile as she was willing to take the rest of the pie.
Ned then headed back to where the pie was, grabbed a paper box and placed it in carefully. He then grabbed the box and walked back to Olive, handing her the box. Ned then placed his hands by his side again.
"Catching up is nice, but perhaps if things slow down a little, would be even better. Also, thanks for taking the pie. I had no idea how to deal with it... Most likely give it away to others... Well... If you are free sometimes... Come down to Pie Hole...I mean if you are free..."

Olive took the box from the pie maker, grateful to have more pie for later. It was a very good pie and she didn't mind taking it at all. She smiled and listened to what Ned had to say. She glanced at the clock on the wall, she would have to explain to her boss what took so long. This wouldn't be so hard considering now she had a pie to offer him a slice of.
She turned back to Ned still smiling, "Really Ned, I love your pie. You'd think I'd be sick of it after working at the Pie Hole for so long but, pie is home." She smiled, "I always have room to take home some of yours." She paused then continued, "And yes, I'd like that." Olive was answering him about coming down to the Pie Hole sometime to visit.

Ned smiled and nodded back to her. He then clasped his hands at the front now while looking at the clock before looking back at her.
"Well, thanks. So... See you soon? What am I talking about... Since we work in the same place, we should be able to see each other unless... avoiding each other...."
OOC: So sorry, no idea what else to write XD

Olive giggled at Ned's fumbling with words. "Bye. I'll see you around." She then took her boxed pie and left the kitchen. Olive went into the hallway and headed back to the office. She hoped Michael wouldn't care that she had been missing for a while. ((Its ok he he. And done?))
