This rp takes place during the settings of senior year and the spring semester, a slight alternete universe, after the first two movies.
The spring musical is coming up, and already things are getting tense between the Evans and Gabriella and Troy. After the last show where Troy and Gabriella stole their parts Sharpay is determined to get the lead. Another event is keeping everyone else occupied: The Sadie Hawkins dance, where girls ask the guys. There's a new principle in town and perhaps a new drama teacher. The plot with the adult characters is as in-depth as the teens. Everyone is trying to get the best date to the dance as they also try to get through high school. The auditions for the musical are coming up soon. Can Troy and Gabby survive the friendly competition of Ryan and Sharpay? Who'll be the lead?
Come, join in the drama!
Let the games begin!

This plot involves
Ryan, Gwen, Sharpay, Gabriella,
Ryan met Gwen at the roller rink and they immediately clicked. The next day was Gwen's first day at East High and she was thrilled to know someone at the school. Especially someone as charming as Ryan. Perhaps it was his charm or perhaps it was because it was her first day but Gwen went all out clothing-wise and wore the school colors. Little did she know that Sharpay was going to wear something special in their school's colors to catch the eye of a certain Wildcat. Luckily Ryan sees Gwen first and warns her to change, unluckily she doesn't change in time. Sharpay is outraged that Gwen is wearing the same thing and furthermore thinks Ryan has something to do with it. She embarrasses poor Gwen and continues to plot how to ruin her.
Ryan takes Sharpay to a show and gets on her good side again, convincing her that he had nothing to do with Gwen wearing the same thing. Yet he can't convince her that Gwen is the sweet girl she is and thus has to sneak around behind Shar's back to have dinner with her. Sharpay finds out and follows them to Lava Springs in disguise, now more angry at the girl than ever for trying to get between her and her brother.
Yet the two don't consider it a date, they're just friends who don't understand their strange and sudden feelings for each other. The only person Ryan is sure he likes is Gabby, and he know he can't have her. Even if they have a strong connection, he'd never want to get in between her and Troy. Or would he?
Will Sharpay ruin Gwen's new life at East high? Will Gwen realize she likes Ryan more than a friend? Will she tell him? Will Ryan confess his crush to Gabby or discover his feelings for Gwen before?
This plot involves
Ryan, Chad, Troy, Taylor, Gabriella, Sharpay,
Ryan has been hanging out more and more with Taylor and Gabriella and has become good friends with them. Shar doesn't know anything about this but Chad and Troy do and Chad doesn't like it. He still doesn't trust Ryan, since he's Sharpay's brother or 'poodle' as he likes to call him. So, after seeing Ryan coming from the store with a gift (tennis balls) for Taylor, Chad confronts him and eventually loses it, getting into a fist fight with Ryan. Ryan isn't the best fighter and ends up getting pretty hurt. Troy watches the whole thing but does nothing to really stop the fight. After all, Ryan has been hanging out with Gabby too.
Sharpay arrives afterwords and sees what they've done to her poor brother who has to stay in the house for several days to heal. She tries to get the new principle to do something but he's so clueless he doesn't. Now Sharpay is out for revenge against Chad and Troy. Who knows what the ice queen will come up with.
Meanwhile, Gabriella and Taylor are mortified by their boyfriends reactions to Ryan being their friend. Now things are strained between the couples and it looks grim. How will things turn out? Will Sharpay get revenge? Will Ryan be able to audition for the musical? Will the couples break up over this?
This plot involves
Michael, Booth, Olive, Xander, Jordan,
Xander is the son of both Michael and Jordan, but since the couple split years earlier he hasn't seen his dad in quite some time. Until Michael comes suddenly back into his life and announces that he's the new principle of East high. Xander is mortified by the idea, since Michael is overwhelmingly childish and rude. Jordan is repulsed by the idea and by Michaels attempts to restart their failed marriage.
Olive, meanwhile, has moved to New Mexico to start over after having her heart broken. She's now the Principle's assistant and the school's secretary, but the students aren't her only interest. Michael has become Olive's distraction from her thoughts of her lost love.
But Olive's not the only one with a new love interest, Jordan is also being pursued by Booth. Booth is everything Michael's not: suave, good with business, and mature. He seems to be the perfect match for the serious Jordan. But is that really what she wants? Is it really what Xander wants?
So, who will Jordan choose? The goofy but lovable Michael? Or sophisticated Booth? And what about Olive? Will she get left behind again?
This plot involves
Sharpay, Xander, Oz, Harmony, Cordelia, Jackie, Troy, Gwen,
The Sadie Hawkins dance is not just a dance, but an opportunity to be named King and Queen of Sadie Hawkins. It's a silly tradition but many take it seriously. Maybe too seriously. Cordelia is determined to win the crown, and as head cheerleader she believes this will be an easy task. Until Sharpay enters the race, and though she's not the most loved of girls she is popular and has all of the guys drooling. Except for one, a mister Troy Bolton. She asked him to the dance but he turned her down in favor of the brainiac. Now Shar needs a new winning date to get her votes and to make her look even better at the dance.
Cordy also tried with Troy but to no avail. She is another full believer of the status quo and figured they would be perfect together. Captain of the Basketball team and head cheerleader. Now she's on the hunt for another jock to take, insisting that her team does the same. This causes difficulties for Gwen and Harmony who want to take boys who are anything but jocks. Cordelia will have none of it, though, and is putting her all into her campaign for the crown, making the girls do the same. Which complicates Sharpay and Gwen's already strained relationship.
Then another girl enters the race, Gabriella's older and snobbier sister, Jackie. Which is hard on everyone since Jackie was head cheerleader years earlier and some of the girls remember and still respect her. Cordelia is livid and this fuels her fire to win, pushing Harmony, her bestie and second in command, to get a jock date and help her defeat the competition, no matter what!
This, understandably, is not good news to Harmony, who has befriended Jackie and doesn't want to sabotage her campaign. There's also a little secret she's been keeping from her best friend, Cordelia, and that is that she's already gotten a date for the dance, Oz. They met in the library, where he spends most of his time, and he helped her find a book and listened to her complain. She asked him at Starbucks and he was so surprised he spilt coffee all over himself. Harmony was sure he'd say no after the girl talk and all, but he surprised her by saying yes! Now Cordelia insists that she takes some buff sports player, but she really likes Oz. He's really sweet and she doesn't want to tell him that she can't go with him.
As for Sharpay, she hasn't a clue whom to take. She would continue after Troy but she now hates him after what he did to Ryan. She has tons of pressure and stress. She has to embarrass Gwen, destroy Chad and Troy, win the Sadie Hawkins crown, get the lead in the musical, and find a date worthy of her! It's no wonder she broke down in the middle of the cafeteria when Xander merely asked if she was alright.
Xander has always had a thing for Sharpay, though he would die before telling anyone. His skater friends would never understand why he likes the ice queen. But when he sees her so broken up in the cafeteria he has to find out if she's okay. So, when she runs out during lunch he follows her to the theater and she starts to open up to him. Can he be her white night? Will he let himself? More importantly, will Sharpay let him?
So, who will win the crown? The ice queen, the captain of the cheer squad, or the witch of East high? But what we all really want to know is, who will everyone take?
The time is ticking down to the dance, let's hope everything gets worked out by then!
